To increase automobile exports, the Indian government has implemented a number of policies, including the "Make in India" campaign and the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) program. Manufacturers are encouraged by these policies to boost output and broaden their global reach.
Indian automobiles are becoming more and more well-liked in foreign markets because of their durability, affordability, and fuel efficiency. Demand for Indian-made automobiles, particularly small cars and SUVs, is rising in Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
India is increasing its production of electric vehicles in tandem with the global trend towards electric vehicles. India's position in the global auto market is being further strengthened by companies like Ola Electric, Tata Motors, and Mahindra that are concentrating on producing electric cars.
